Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to Fahari Bliss Hotel for check-in. This day is for you to rest and prepare for the safari adventure ahead. If time permits, you may take a short tour of Nairobi to visit sites such as the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum (optional at an extra cost).
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel while receiving a detailed briefing about your safari itinerary. Spend the night at Fahari Bliss Hotel, resting for the journey ahead.
After an early breakfast, depart from Nairobi and embark on a scenic drive to the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through the breathtaking Great Rift Valley, where you can stop for photos of the spectacular landscapes.
Arrive at Ndovu Campsite inside Maasai Mara in time for lunch. After some rest, head out for an exciting afternoon game drive, where you will start spotting some of Africa’s most incredible wildlife, including elephants, lions, cheetahs, and antelopes. As the sun sets, return to Ndovu Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the vast plains of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This is one of the best safari destinations in Africa, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo).
Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, battling strong currents and hungry crocodiles. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild before continuing your game drive.
As the day ends, return to Ndovu Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay inside the reserve.
Start your morning with an early sunrise game drive, capturing the beauty of the wild as predators hunt and herbivores graze. Return to the campsite for breakfast before departing for Serengeti National Park in Tanzania.
Drive towards the Isebania Border, where you will go through immigration and cross into Tanzania. After completing the border formalities, continue your journey into the Serengeti, arriving at Mapito Tented Camp Ground in the late afternoon.
Relax after the long drive and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Serengeti wilderness. Dinner and overnight stay at Mapito Campsite Ground.
Wake up early for a walking safari with professional guides and park rangers. This unique experience allows you to explore the Serengeti on foot, learning about animal tracks, plants, and the smaller creatures that are often missed during game drives.
After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive through the Serengeti National Park, renowned for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. The park is home to large lion prides, leopards resting in acacia trees, and vast herds of herbivores.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your exploration. In the evening, head to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay under the starry African sky.
After an early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations.
The crater hosts a diverse range of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, and flamingos around the soda lakes. Enjoy a game drive as you admire the breathtaking landscapes and rich animal life.
In the late afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to Fanaka Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay in Karatu town.
After an early breakfast at Fanaka Campsite, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight. Depending on your flight schedule, you may choose to explore Arusha town for some last-minute souvenir shopping before heading to the airport.
